Time is the most precious asset we have, and how we spend it defines who we are. For me, there’s no greater fulfillment than using my time to help others—whether it’s offering support, sharing knowledge, or making a difference in someone’s life. It’s something I’ve always looked forward to and strive to make a core part of my journey.
Miguel has been a reference for me ever since I was a kid. I played in his junior tour from the age of 8 and has the honor to play for him in a match-play. When I was old enough, I wanted to give back everything they gave to me as a kid and decided to volunteer during the final stage of the tour. I was the tournament director assistant and helped in every way possible to run the event smoothly.
The Swim and Dive teams are huge in Louisville with several athletes competing in the Olympics. I did some community service hours by helping them time the athletes in competition. There is of course a electronic timer that sets their times, but in case that fails, they have volunteers time the swimmers as well, so that was my job. It was super fun to learn about new sports and see people that are great at their craft perform from that close.
I spent time with some of my teammates helping pack bags for vetrans in the United States. The "No soldier left behind project" focuses on helping veterans and providing them with everything they need after spending years of their life serving their country. It was a beautiful experience and I learn a lot of what it means to be a veteran and serve your country.
Deportivo Hispalense is a small football club in Sevilla, Spain. My home town. I served as their photographer for a few matches when I was back home from school in Louisville during break.
I majored in Sports Administration at the University of Louisville. I had the opportunity to intern at the broadcast center and exoerience what live TV looks behind the scenes.
Two years in a row I had a great opportunity by playing pickleball with people with disabilities. This activity holds a special place in my heart as it is always so much fun.
